Paqett is an IoT platform that enables you to connect devices, send telemetry data, and query that data via API. The Service includes device provisioning, data storage, API access, and related features as described on our website.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Account Security

  • You must keep your password confidential
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account access

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • We reserve the right to remove or refuse to process any data that violates these Terms

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

5.1 Free Tier

  • Unlimited devices
  • 500,000 messages per month
  • 7-day data retention
  • Subject to fair use policies

5.2 Paid Tier

  • Unlimited devices
  • 10 million messages per month
  • 90-day data retention
  • Billed monthly at $20/month

5.3 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account

6. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice
  • We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with notice

7. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Data retention periods are specified in your subscription plan
  • You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently delete all associated data
  • We may delete data that exceeds retention periods automatically
  • We are not responsible for data loss due to account deletion or retention expiration

8. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Paqett
  • You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
  • You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Our trademarks and logos may not be used without permission

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
  • WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paqett, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any data or content you provide through the Service

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the Settings page. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay fees. We may also terminate accounts that are inactive for extended periods.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law
